EV Charger Rebate Programs Available Now
In 2025, Clark Public Utilities will promote EV adoption through two primary programs:
- Level II EV Charger Rebate: Receive up to $500 for the purchase and installation of a qualified Level II charger. To qualify, the charger must be ENERGY STAR rated and Wi-Fi enabled. This rebate is capped at the purchase price if below $500 (excluding sales tax), plus any installation costs. A maximum of two rebates are allowed per household. - Electric Vehicle Managed Charging Program: Participate in this program and receive a $50 utility bill credit—$25 upon enrollment and another $25 at the end of the year. This initiative helps manage charging times to reduce strain on the power grid. Participants also gain free access to the Optiwatt app, which offers valuable insights into your EV’s charging habits. Compared to conventional 120-volt outlets, Level II chargers run on a 240-volt outlet, which drastically cuts down on charging time.
